Services

 

RG&A provides a variety of services that include:

 

·         Perform on-site school facilities inventory to determine the capacity of each school pursuant to School Facilities Program regulations.

 

·         Establishing and updating new construction eligibility under the School Facilities Program, assisting in preparing application documents for new construction funding under the School Facilities Program

 

·         Establishing and updating modernization eligibility under the School Facilities Program, assisting in preparing application documents for modernization funding under the School Facilities Program

 

·         Assisting with preparing Extreme Hardship applications under the State’s deferred maintenance program (a program temporarily suspended)

 

·         Assisting in the preparation of Career Technical Education grant proposals for submittal to CDE for their review.  Prepare funding applications for submittal to OPSC upon receipt of CDE approval.

 

·         Assisting with identifying eligibility for the Overcrowding Relief Grant program to replace portable classrooms on dense school sites. Obtain concurrence from the CDE and preparing funding applications for submittal to OPSC.

 

·         Working with the design team to maximize State funding with both current and newly created programs administered by the State Allocation Board.

 

·         Provide ongoing reports on actions taken at the State Allocation Board and Implementation Committee meetings.

 

Although the above represents the majority of the services provided, we have assisted in specialized programs such as the Joint Use program and partnering on Five Year Facility Master Plans.  We continue to address new programs that are presented in order to better serve our clients and give them the opportunity to expand their facilities programs.  Some of these other opportunities have included the Qualified School Construction Bond and Federal Renovation Programs.
